Ron Paul?
I’m not sure what to think about Ron Paul. It’s not that I am on the fence about whether I agree with his viewpoints or not - for the most part, I agree with him pretty strongly - but that’s what scares me. Here’s this guy feeding me exactly what I want to hear, he’s going to end the fed, get us out of foreign wars, etc. But why should we trust him? That’s what I’m not sure about. There’s no accountability. What’s to stop him from lying to the country just like EVERY other president in history? Obama for example. He’s the most blatant and clear cut case of an Illuminati marketing campaign so far. He’s promoted with a logo, a slogan, hope and change. Everyone falls for it and he does exactly the opposite of what he promised. We don’t have a very good track record. And isn’t the definition of insanity doing the same thing over again expecting different results? It’s insane to think we will change our country through our “democratic” voting process.
But then again, maybe he really is genuine… He’s been pushing the same ideals and policies for years and years. He’s the underdog. He’s not getting the big business funding the others are getting. He’s got to be the real deal right? I want to believe it.
However, I’m afraid he’s one of them- just catering to a different market than Obama and Bush did. He’s a different tool, but he’s being used to get the same job done. For most of our countries history, we were presented with a select few candidates to choose from. And even still today, the vast majority of the population will only concern themselves with one democrat and one republican- two puppets of the same master. However there is a growing market of people who see through this game. These are the truthers, conspiracy theorists, call them what you will. And I’m afraid this may be where Ron Paul comes in. He was planted as a “just in case” situation, a plan B. More than likely, things will continue as they always have. But in the off chance that this “truther” market gains considerable size, he will be ready to scoop up their votes. The Illuminati have all their bases covered.
But I suppose none of this even really matters much anyway. Let’s say Ron Paul is genuine. Nothing will change through the system we currently use. It’s too deeply corrupted. His efforts will be thwarted at every turn by the other political bodies. At best, he will bring some awareness to the situation and lay some issues on the table for serious discussion (if the media chooses to allow that).
No, I think ultimately we are wasting our efforts playing by the rules of this game because its been rigged in their favor. We need to start a new game. There needs to be revolution, whether violent or peaceful. We need a mass awakening, because sheer numbers is the only advantage we have.
I guess I’ll keep spreading awareness and pushing for that to happen. In the meantime, I’ll probably vote for Ron Paul. Why not give it a shot right?

Libertarians scare conservatives because of how drastic the viewpoints. My biggest fear is that Paul has said day one the federal reserve goes away?..which is an awful move that will have huge reprocussions. Flying spaghetti monster 2k12
